I've particularly enjoyed the recent posts that look at transsaharan history: the linkages between North and Subsaharan Africa. This is really wonderful work, Isaac.

Thank you. I intend to highlight these ancient linkages between the North and South in most of my essays on North Africa, which is often wrongly seen as separate from the rest of the continent.

Thank you for this fascinating essay and the books included on your Patreon. The history of Christianity in Africa is something I'm deeply interested in and I really enjoyed reading this essay.

The general public, including myself need to study more about the Africa after the fall of the Pharaohs, alot was taking shape , in term of state formations, this include the rise of Axum Dm't, and what was happening in the very early eras of the Swahili cities like Rhapta.. I know you touched on these before.
