Amazing compilation tbh. Only thing I noticed is the Tartar Gur tumulus is actually in Menz/Shewa rather than South Wollo. But there is shay Tumuli in both regions though
Fascinating survey. I worked briefly as an analyst for Somalia back when Siad Barre was still around and we focused on more recent history - which really only barely explained what was happening on the ground in that entire region.

The sabean fabrication needs to stop. It was a Eurocentric tale that thrived but fails on many counts. As archaeology paper writes
“Based on gross similarities that lacks specificity to be called south Arabian and this interpretative position is not well supported”
